Can foreigners buy off-plan property in the UAE?

Yes. Freehold areas in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, such as Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, Saadiyat Island and Al Marjan Island, are open to buyers of all nationalities.

How do off-plan payment plans work?

You pay a booking amount, instalments during construction and the balance on completion. Plans such as 60/40 or 50/50 are common; I share each project's official plan.

Is my money protected?

Off-plan payments in Dubai go into a RERA-regulated escrow account linked to the project.

What fees apply on top of the price?

The Dubai Land Department fee of 4%, plus registration and admin fees. I give you the full breakdown for each project.

Can buying property get me a Golden Visa?

Property worth AED 2M or more can qualify for a 10-year Golden Visa, subject to eligibility and current rules. I recommend independent advice.
